QuestionsVI questions

Questions,short answers.

The six questions asked most often before an appointment. We kept the answers short; for the longer conversation we're already here.

Question 01

Does it hurt much?

Every tattoo lands differently — where on the body, how long the line, how tense the day is. You can pause whenever you want; breathe, drink water, then we keep going. The pain stays manageable. You run the experience, not the other way around.

Question 02

How long does a tattoo take?

It can range from half an hour to six hours, depending on the design. A small minimalist line lands in a single sitting; a sleeve or a larger composition closes over several. After we have the brief we give you a clear time estimate. No surprise overruns.

Question 03

Am I in good shape for it?

Active skin infections, uncontrolled diabetes, blood thinners, or pregnancy / breastfeeding mean we'll need to postpone. Health comes first. If you have a chronic condition or take medication regularly, note it on the booking form or email us; we'll talk through how to proceed together.

Question 04

What's the minimum age?

18 and over. We don't tattoo under 18 by law. No exceptions, parental consent included. If you're on the cusp, bring your ID on the day of your appointment.

Question 05

Can I move my appointment?

Yes. Up to a day before, freely; just email us. We can usually shift it to another date in the same week. Cancellations within 24 hours can affect the deposit; the terms we share during payment apply.

Question 06

First tattoo: how do I prepare?

Sleep well the night before, eat lightly in the morning, no alcohol or caffeine. Bring music, a book, or a podcast you like; the atelier is yours, quiet or talkative, your call. A first tattoo matters — we're here to make sure you feel at ease.
